Every custom sign from Appalachian Creations VA is built to order and crafted entirely by hand. Because each project is unique, the process begins with a design consultation to ensure the final piece reflects your brand, vision, and desired style.
To begin the design process, a $50 design deposit is required. Once received, you may provide your desired sign size, logo, reference images, or concept ideas to serve as source material.
Using this information, a working stencil and preliminary design layout will be created along with a project estimate. This stage allows us to refine the design and ensure it accurately represents your business before production begins.
Once the design and quote are approved, a 50% deposit based on the quoted project cost is required to secure your place in the production schedule.
At this point, your project will be officially booked and construction of your custom sign will begin.
Each sign is individually crafted by hand using traditional woodworking techniques. Components are carefully cut, shaped, sanded, and assembled before paint, stains, and protective finishes are applied.
Because multiple layers of glue, paint, and finish must properly cure between stages, production typically requires approximately 2–4 weeks, depending on the complexity and size of the project.
This deliberate process ensures the final piece meets the quality and durability standards that define Appalachian Creations VA.
Once the sign is completed, you will be notified and provided with final photos of the finished piece.
At that time, the remaining balance plus shipping costs will be due prior to delivery. Local pickup is available and free.
